Setting up IMAP email - Samsung Galaxy A-Series

1 Before you start

Make sure you have the following information:

1. Your email address
2. Password
3. Username

Internet must be set up before you start this guide.

2. Swipe up on your home screen

3 Select Email

5 Select Other

Select Other

 

6 Enter your Email address and Password. Select Sign in

Enter your Email address and Password. Select Sign in

 

7 Select IMAP account

Select POP3 account or IMAP account

 

8 Enter your FULL email address as the username. Use the setting supplied as your incoming server address. Ensure the incoming port number is 143.

9 Scroll down and enter the outgoing server address. Please ensure that you use your FULL email address as the username at the bottom. The toggle for "require authentication" must remain on. Then select Sign In.

10 Your account is ready to use
